This Privacy Policy explains how BookitGY (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the BookitGY app and related services (the “App”).
Account information: name, email address, phone number, and whether you are a customer or service provider.
Location information: used to show nearby providers, display service locations on a map, and enable navigation to appointments. BookitGY does not track your location in the background.
Appointments & usage: booking details, service prices displayed, and non-identifying usage data to improve performance.
BookitGY does not process payments in the app. Payments for services happen offline between customers and providers (e.g., cash or other external arrangements). BookitGY may earn a commission from providers for facilitating bookings.
We may send transactional messages (for example via WhatsApp/SMS) and in-app notifications related to bookings and account activity. We do not send marketing messages without consent.
We do not sell personal data. We share only what’s necessary to complete bookings (for example, between customers and providers) and with trusted service providers who help operate the App (hosting, messaging), or when required by law.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
You can update your account information and manage permissions (including location) in your device settings. You may request account deletion by contacting us.
BookitGY is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
