Terms of Service

These Terms govern the BookitGY app, website, public booking pages and related services (the “Services”). The Services are operated by BookitGY LLC (“BookitGY,” “we,” or “us”). By affirmatively agreeing to these Terms when creating an account, you accept them. Existing users will receive any notice or renewed agreement required for a material change; mere access to the app is not represented as a substitute for consent where law requires affirmative agreement. The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.
1. Marketplace role
BookitGY helps clients discover and book independent service providers. Providers—not BookitGY—perform the listed services, set their availability and service details, and are responsible for the quality, safety, qualifications, licenses, permits, insurance, and performance of their services. A listing is not a certification or endorsement. The service agreement for an appointment is between the provider and client.
2. Eligibility, accounts and security
Provide accurate account and booking details, protect your credentials and booking links, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Do not create accounts for others without authorization. Where guest booking is offered, protect any booking-management links or verification codes. BookitGY may require reauthentication for sensitive account actions.
3. Agreement and authorization records
Where an affirmative signup agreement is presented, it requires an unchecked control linking to these Terms and the Privacy Policy; required affirmative consent must be obtained before account creation under the applicable signup process. BookitGY may retain the account reference, actual approved document versions, integrity-verifiable archived text and server-recorded agreement time. This agreement is not authorization for marketing, WhatsApp messages or recurring billing. Provider subscription authorization is separate and must be affirmatively provided for the exact offer displayed.
4. Provider obligations
Providers must accurately describe services, prices, locations, policies and availability; comply with applicable licensing, tax, consumer, health, safety and accessibility requirements; honor accepted bookings or communicate changes promptly; and protect client information used to fulfill appointments. BookitGY may moderate listings but does not promise to verify every provider.
5. Bookings, cancellations and service payments
Review service details and provider-specific cancellation or no-show rules before booking. BookitGY currently does not process the price paid by a client to a provider for a booked service. Those payments, refunds and disputes are handled between the client and provider, separately from BookitGY provider fees. Deleting a BookitGY account does not automatically cancel an appointment or resolve an off-platform payment obligation.
6. US provider subscriptions
Eligible US providers may purchase the BookitGY Provider subscription through the authenticated BookitGY website and Stripe-hosted pages. The base offer is $9.99 USD per month plus applicable tax following one original three-calendar-month free trial. The authenticated billing offer must present the original trial-end timestamp, first-payment timing, renewal cadence, cancellation route and linked policies before recurring billing is authorized. The actual amount and currency presented by Stripe must be reviewed at Checkout; Stripe Adaptive Pricing may display a converted amount. The mobile app displays subscription status only and does not offer in-app subscription purchase or management. The original trial does not restart or extend because a provider adds a card, resumes setup, cancels or later returns. When a trial has already ended, the website must display the verified payment timing applicable to that account rather than suggesting a future trial-end charge. If the offer or payment timing cannot be verified, subscription setup remains unavailable until corrected.
7. Subscription cancellation
Cancel through the authenticated BookitGY website at bookitgy.com using Subscription & Billing → Manage billing and the Stripe-hosted portal, where available. If the portal cannot be used, contact support@bookitgy.com or https://www.bookitgy.com/support to request help. Cancellation is effective when verified as processed; merely submitting a request is not proof that renewal stopped. Ordinary cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily preserves paid access until the verified paid-through timestamp. It does not automatically refund unused paid time, except for verified errors, approved exceptions or refunds required by law. A cancellation during an unpaid trial prevents conversion to paid service.
8. Permanent account deletion and refunds
Permanent account deletion is different from ordinary cancellation. You can request it through Profile → Delete account in the app, with the required identity confirmation, or seek help at https://www.bookitgy.com/account-deletion. For an authenticated permanent deletion request, the confirmation time determines any eligible unused-time refund. We work to stop future renewal and prevent conflicting new subscription setup while deletion remains unresolved. A request is not reported as complete while cancellation is unverified. If you delete during an eligible paid period, BookitGY refunds the actual unused prepaid portion of the current subscription fee, calculated using the confirmed request time, the actual paid period, the net amount collected after discounts and prior refunds, and applicable payment limits. Taxes are assessed separately. The separate Provider Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy governs details. Refund processing and remote media cleanup may continue after otherwise-safe local deletion; they are not falsely reported as complete.
9. Guyana provider billing
Guyana providers remain subject to the applicable Guyana platform-fee and provider-billing arrangement disclosed in their account. The US Stripe provider subscription does not automatically apply to Guyana providers.
10. User content and conduct
You retain rights in content you upload and grant BookitGY a nonexclusive license to host, process and display it as reasonably necessary to operate, protect and promote the Services, subject to the Privacy Policy and deletion obligations. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing, abusive or privacy-invasive material; manipulate bookings or reviews; access other accounts; or interfere with service security. BookitGY may restrict, remove or preserve content when reasonably necessary for moderation, safety, legal compliance or disputes.
11. Third-party services
The Services rely on providers for hosting, payments, communications, sign-in, mapping, media and diagnostics. Third-party terms may apply. BookitGY does not control every third-party processing or settlement timeline.
12. Suspension and termination
BookitGY may restrict or suspend accounts for material Terms violations, security or safety concerns, legal requirements, or applicable billing ineligibility. We may give notice or an opportunity to address an issue when reasonably practicable. Deletion and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy and Account Deletion Policy.
13. Warranties and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are offered “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, provider qualifications, or service outcomes. BookitGY excludes indirect or consequential losses to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes a liability or consumer or business right that applicable law prohibits excluding. These Terms do not impose a separate monetary liability cap or contractual indemnification obligation.
14. Updates
We may update these Terms and will post a version and effective date. Material changes will receive the notice or renewed agreement required in the circumstances. We do not fabricate consent for earlier accounts.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to applicable mandatory laws and any non-waivable rights, disputes arising from these Terms may be brought in courts of competent jurisdiction in New York. Nothing in this section removes rights or protections that applicable law does not permit parties to waive.
